Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
* Conduct research and analysis on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify tax savings opportunities
* Communicate with clients, tax authorities, and other stakeholders to gather information and resolve issues related to tax filings
* Review financial documents, such as income statements and balance sheets, to identify potential tax implications
* Participate in the review and documentation of tax processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
* Assist in the preparation of tax planning strategies and recommendations to optimize tax efficiency for clients
* Monitor and analyze changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax savings
* Work collaboratively with other members of the tax team and other departments within the organization
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
