In 2011 SkySlope started as an idea born at the kitchen table of our CEO, with just him and two others. Headquartered in Sacramento, California, we have since grown out of our previous 3 offices and many of our close to 180 employees are spread all across the United States. Those 180 employees support close to 300,000 users across 5,000 offices nationwide and now in Canada as well. Included in that is 8 out of the 15 largest Real Estate Brokerages in the nation.

The Accountant's responsibilities at SkySlope include payroll, accounts payable, and limited accounts receivable functions. Payroll functions will include full multi-state payrolls cycles from enterprise payroll system. Accounts payable function duties include entering invoices, coding expenses, and managing payments. Accounts receivable will backfill the responsibilities of the billing coordinator and will have limited invoicing and collection duties. The candidate should be detail-oriented and have the ability to manage time between responsibilities. This role will report directly to the Assistant Controller.

What You'll Be Doing 💻

• Full A/P functions
• Payroll journal entries
• Backfill A/R
• Expense coding
• Payroll processing

What You Bring to the Table 🎓

• Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
• Proficient with spreadsheets data analysis
• 1-2 years payroll experience (DayForce experience a plus)
• Self-driven motivator who takes the initiative on projects and daily duties
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required
• Month-end close experience including journal entries
• Certified payroll certifications are plus
• QuickBooks experience
• Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
• 1-2 years accounting experience
• Strong familiarity with account reconciliations and month-end close entries
• Detail-oriented

This position is only open to candidates who are within commuting distance to our office located in Sacramento, California. This is a hybrid role.

The pay range for this position is between $25.00 and $32.00 hourly.
