Seaboard is looking to expand its long-tenured Corporate Accounting team. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with preparation of schedules to support the filings on Forms 10-Q and 10-K with the SEC.
• Provide support for other corporate accounting functions, including domestic cash management and accounts payable.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations for domestic and foreign entities per multiple financial institution platforms.
• Manage all Corporate fixed asset accounting in JD Edwards.
• Coordinate and prepare annual surveys for all domestic divisions for the U.S. Census Bureau.
• Maintain master files and user access in the financial and fixed asset systems and produce user access reports for periodic review.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for a consolidated subsidiary that has railroad operations.
• Record daily foreign cash transactions in multiple currencies to divisional intercompany accounts.
• Prepare journal entries for the month-end close process.
• Compile information for internal and external auditor requests.
• Assist in development of automation processes using UI Path and/or Alteryx.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, required.
• Internship or similar experience as a Staff Accountant or relevant role in accounting is a plus.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with UiPath, Alteryx or other automation tools is a plus.
• Desire to continue to grow through professional training, including such as pursuit of Certified Public Account (CPA) license.
• Knowledge of JD Edwards is a plus.
