Work Schedule:
3rd Shift (M-F 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Occasionally Weekend Overtime
- Daily overtime

Ensure a quality product is produced and continuous improvement. Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the production area
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Responsible for notifying the Sanitation Supervisor of any mechanical problems.
- Perform special projects which include non-routine cleaning and painting.
- Reads and writes either Spanish or English to follow written procedures and fill out pre-operational forms.
- Remove or cover packaging materials.
- Remove or cover edible products.
- Turn off power on equipment to be dismantled - Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
- Pick up miscellaneous trash.
- Responsible for minor production set-up such as filling glue pots- assembling equipment- placing equipment and items in the proper place.
- May also perform additional miscellaneous duties as directed by the Sanitation Supervisor.
- Works safely and promotes safe working conditions.
- Perform miscellaneous cleaning tasks (including sweeping- scrubbing- polishing- dusting- etc.) throughout the entire facility.
- Dismantle equipment.
- Measure chemical concentrations and records the results.
- Position drain baskets/screens and clean drains.
- May also perform additional miscellaneous duties as directed by the Sanitation Supervisor
- Wipe and cover equipment not adaptable wet cleaning.
- Apply detergent- brush and scour- rinse- inspect for defects- and sanitize- final rinse- dry.
- Responsible for proper placement of all sanitation utensils after use.
- Operates hand trucks to move materials.
- Must try to recycle as much recyclable waste as possible.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks on the plant grounds including sweeping- picking up garbage- watering- and shoveling snow (seasonal).
- Pushes waste carts and disposing of them properly.
Work Environment
- Plant temperature can fluctuate (humid- cold- or warm based on seasonality)
- Physical Demand Classification (PDC): Reaching- handling- fingering- twisting- high repetition- turning.
- Standing 8 hours shifts
- The Work environment would have a strong smell of vinegar and/or spaces
