Clark Retirement is seeking a Full Time 3rd shift Lead Care Partner to join our Assisted Living team at the Keller Lake campus. We offer on the job training and certification for medication technicians. As a lead care partner on our team, you’ll be providing service to residents in a person-centered and professional manner to ensure each resident’s comfort and well-being.
Compensation will be determined by years of relevant experience, typically in the range of $17.50 - $21.00/hour. Please list all of your related work experience in the application for full consideration.
We are hiring to fill the following schedule (10:45pm - 7:00am each shift):
Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday
Requirements:
- Proof of High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience passing medications in a senior living setting
- CPR Certification (certification classes available at Clark)
Essential Responsibilities
- Notifies physician with changes in condition, abnormal labs, x-ray and vitals and any other changes
- Takes direction from Supervisor, asks for help when needed, supports team members
- Receive, note and follow up with physician’s orders
- Other duties as assigned
- Assume the role of Care Partner- per that position description
- Maintain all necessary documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Reports changes in conditions or behaviors to nurses in a timely manner
- Orders medications. Stores, distributes and documents all prescription and over the counter medication given to residents per protocols and as ordered by the physician
- Provides treatments, changes dressings, checks blood sugars, oxygen and vitals and other medical interventions according to physicians orders
- Communicates appropriate information to family members
- Distributes medication and provides treatments, personal care and assists with activities of daily living for elderly residents
- Assesses pain and follow through to treat per physician’s order
