Clark Retirement is seeking compassionate, dedicated Lead Care Partners to join our Assisted Living teams within Clark, a Life Plan Community. As a lead care partner on our team, you will be assisting our residents with activities of daily living, as well as passing medications. We offer paid on-the-job training and med pass certification.
Compensation will be determined by past experience, typically in the range of $17.50 - $22.00/hour. Please list all of your related work experience in the application for full consideration.
Key Skills & Qualities
- At least 1 year of experience passing medications in an assisted living setting
- Knowledge of dementia preferred
- Desired traits: caring, responsible, respectful, empathetic, detail oriented
- Ability to work well with a team
- Familiar with Person Centered Living
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain all necessary documentation and charting in a timely and accurate manner
- Orders medications. Stores, distributes and documents all prescription and over the counter medication given to residents per protocols and as ordered by the physician
- Takes direction from Supervisor, asks for help when needed, supports team members
- Provides treatments, changes dressings, checks blood sugars, oxygen and vitals and other medical interventions according to physicians orders
- Reports changes in conditions or behaviors to nurses in a timely manner
- Assume the role of Care Partner (resident aide) as needed
- Distributes medication and provides treatments, personal care and assists with activities of daily living for elderly residents
- Communicates appropriate information to family members
