3Pl Chief Operating Officer

The CEO is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the company's logistics operations. This includes setting the strategic direction, developing and implementing plans, and managing the performance of the team. The CEO is also responsible for ensuring that the company's logistics operations are aligned with the company's overall business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

● Set the strategic direction for the company's logistics operations.

● Develop and implement plans to achieve the company's logistics goals.

● Manage the performance of the logistics team.

● Ensure that the company's logistics operations are aligned with the company's overall business goals and objectives.

● Represent the company to customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

● Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

● Oversee the development and implementation of new logistics initiatives.

● Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree or Masters in business administration, logistics, or a related field.

● 10+ years of experience in 3PL /logistics/transportation with focus on business development and P/L management required.

● Proven track record of success in leading and managing logistics teams in 3PL /Transportation environment.

● Account management experience preferred.

● Book of business (3PL customer base) highly preferred.

● Minimum of 7 years of experience working with 3PL customers.

Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

● Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
