2D Artist Jobs

We are looking for A 2D Artist who is an experienced artist that looks after production design and concept artwork. The 2D Artist contributes to several aspects to design in production, including Environment design, Prop design, PreVis design, drawovers, clean up, rotations, and colour design.

The role demands a portfolio that demonstrates a variety of vital all-around artwork and smart production design.

The 2D artist would be translating scripts from the written word to visual design; the 2D artist would be working closely with the Directors and Art Directors.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in artistic validation sessions to ensure high artistic quality;
• Participate actively in team and department meetings;
• Work effectively within the technical and project constraints while creating in a variety of visual styles; address creative and technical issues as they arise;
• Work closely with other artists and art directors;
• Perform other duties as required.
• Determine and respect deadlines and deadlines established with the production department;

About you

• Good knowledge of the production pipeline of a game;
• Knowledge of 3Dcoat, Zbrush or other software that increase productivity is an asset;
• Portfolio highlighting your artistic and technical skills;
• Knowledge of human anatomy, perspective, composition, design and color theory;
• Great knowledge Photoshop and a 3D software (Max, Maya, Blender, etc…) is required;
• Be creative and adapt to different play styles and graphic styles;
• Demonstrate autonomy, resourcefulness, organization, good time management and rigor;
• Have an excellent artistic culture (games, multimedia, cinema, etc.);
• Have team spirit, proactivity and a positive attitude.
