Title: Tech Project Manager

We are looking for someone who has worked in the federal space, preferably someone with PMP, someone who has worked with enterprise-wide solutions, data warehouses, or other data-intensive systems.

Job Duties

• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Establishes work plans for each project phase; makes staffing recommendations and coordinates activities of assigned personnel within prescribed budget and according to schedule
• Provide technical leadership, quality assurance, decision-oriented recommendations direction, and management
• Track project costs in order to meet budget
• Reviews project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedure for project accomplishment and allotment of resources to various phases of the project
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Will help assemble project team, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate resources needed, and develops detailed project plans
• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
• Works with team members in various departments and areas of responsibility to define, coordinate, and develop solutions for department or area specific requirements and problems.
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Participates in kick-off meetings, progress meetings, preparatory meetings, etc.
• Determine and define project scope and objectives
• Reviews project status, modifies schedule or plan as required.
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
