Become conversant in existing technologies within UDOT, including fiber, traffic signal systems, ITS systems, and traffic management hardware and software.

Assist with the management of federal grants.

5+ years of experience in roadway design – preferred

AutoCAD Civil 3D experience - required

INDOT roadway design experience – preferred

Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.

5+ years of experience professional experience leading the management of projects

Elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other internal departments

As a Project Manager, your responsibilities include:

Manage a staff of engineers and technicians and assign workloads

Excellent communication and delegation skills

Ability to manage and mentor a team

Education, Experience And Certification/Registration Desired

Identify transactions and tasks that require special handling, recommend improved processes to management and implement resolutions within assigned scope of responsibility

Comprehend the full range of freight forwarding services: order management, movement scheduling, customs brokerage, monitor and control services, cost optimization, etc.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION (outline Job Duties And Responsibilities)

Knowledge with Road, Ocean, Air or Rail for both hazardous and nonhazardous materials, simple and complex cargo shipments

Act as the transportation knowledge center for the entire Alfa Laval organization

Three (3) years relevant experience in airport operations, operations center management and/or project coordination/management.

Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, operations management, communications, business or public administration, or a related field.

Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.

You will be a subject-matter expert for TBU strategic initiatives to support their definition, development & implementation.

To create the Blackout platform, you will leverage SharePoint for creation & deployment.

Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
