Read and interpret production travelers and engineering specifications to ensure product conformance at each manufacturing product sequence.

Document part characteristics and measurements on inspection history cards during first article inspections and other inspection sequences.

Record data from inspection history cards on inspection files and maintain accurate and legible inspection records.

Load and/or transport part containers utilizing a forklift, hand truck or manual/motorized pallet jack to assigned locations.

Determine quality (Pass/Fail) of manufactured parts based on dimensional and visual inspection.

Reviews and revises testing and equipment procedures as needed. Performs equipment and procedure qualifications periodically.

Employ sound technical writing skills involving deviation reports, laboratory investigation reports, etc.

Perform or assist with other Quality Unit assigned activities related to MURR facility responsibilities associated with FDA, NRC, and DOT regulations.

Able to independently perform testing on multiple radiopharmaceutical batches manufactured on a weekly basis.

Assists peers with method development and validation activities.

Contribute to the proper maintenance and organization of the laboratory, laboratory equipment, supplies, records, and samples.

Completing supervisor assigned responsibilities to insure that departmental objectives are being met on time.

Manage retention samples for each batch of reagents. Discarding of expired retention samples.

Ability to manage assigned tasks and projects

Inspect and release incoming raw materials for production use.

Approve labels for every batch produced.

Perform revision of the RMS’s as needed.

3+ years of relevant experience (B.S. Degree), 6+ years of relevant experience (A.S. degree)

Perform data entry of test results.

1+ year of prior Inspection experience preferred.

Responsible for testing Barnhill-produced asphalt mix at any of company s asphalt plants in accordance with NCDOT specifications.

Oversee plant calibrations required by NCDOT specifications.

Required regular lifting of 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Demonstrated NDT skill, knowledge, or experience.

NDT Methods – Expertise in multiple NDT methods and willingness to engage in ongoing learning and application of skills.

Mechanical – Intermediate mechanical knowledge.

Valid driver’s license. Insurability through PROtect, LLC insurance carrier. Certification in VT, MT and PT.

This position will work with the Mechanical Integrity team headquartered out of North Houston, Tx.

Conduct non-destructive (NDT) testing of components and materials in accordance with applicable codes, standards, equipment utilization, specifications, and procedures.

Computer Skills with working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).

Participate in continuous improvement activities looking to pursue laboratory best practice and offer appropriate feedback when non-value added activities are observed.

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Conduct testing of in-process materials, finished product, and stability samples in support of production at the ASPEX client Manufacturing site.

Maintain QC Analytical Laboratory in compliance with regulatory standards and site procedures.

Perform routine analytical testing for raw materials, special test requests, laboratory investigations, and instrument qualifications according to validated methods.

Experience with cGMP in pharmaceutical environment

Knowledge of bio-analytical and chemistry analytical techniques

Responsible for adhering to the Environmental, Health and Safety program.
