Responsibilities

  • {Understands how the team integrates with others to accomplish the team objectives}
  • Completing supervisor assigned responsibilities to insure that departmental objectives are being met on time.
  • Running and approving production samples to insure that-the customer receives a quality product in a timely manner.
  • {Requires broadened technical skills in analytical/ scientific methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities, Requires established skills to perform a range of routine activities}
  • {Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area by evaluating and selecting solutions from established operating procedures and/or analytical/scientific methods, without supervisory approval; evaluates and selects solutions from established options; Identifies the problems and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures, and makes sound decisions}
  • Characterize, handle, label, manifest, or inspect hazardous waste in accordance with environmental regulations.
  • Running and approving raw materials to insure the quality of our finished products.
  • {Communicates moderately complex technical information within the team; Uses communication skills to exchange straight forward information}]
  • {Impacts the quality of own work and team; Understands how the assigned duties relate to others in the team and how the team integrates with other related teams}
  • Participation with cross functional teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities as required.
  • Verify proper labeling, handling and inspection of hazardous waste material.
  • {Has no supervisory responsibilities; manages own workload}
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • {Impacts own team through the quality of the services or information provided; follows standardized procedures and practices and receives regular but moderate supervision and guidance}
  • Must be able to complete normal QC functions with a minimal amount of supervision.

Qualifications

  • Good math skills
  • Computer experience including Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes databases, and corporate ERP systems is helpful but not required
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A general understanding of basic chemical concepts is desirable
