College degree preferred, or an equivalent of education plus experience in a similar administrative environment.

Risk Management and Audit Services

Minimum of three (3) years of risk management, claims, finance, analysis, or related experience is required

Coordinate with Treasury Cash Management on claim deposit requirements

Perform activities including reconciling reports from brokers and vendors, creating reports for management, and responding to requests for additional information

Assist Utilization Management with procedures for managing transplant cases

Ability to interact with all levels of management as well as external stakeholders

Work with broker to manage certificate of insurance requests

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Risk Management, Finance, International Business or equivalent field of study

One to three years of working experience with an insurance broker or risk management department, including related internships

Maintain updates to Risk Management manuals

Review Risk Management shared email box for distribution to team members

Engage with construction project managers to maintain construction project tracker for builder’s risk insurance reporting

Manage supplier set up, PO creation and invoice processing in payment system

Minimum 1 year of professional work experience/internship

Review limits, deductibles, proposal quotes and renewal terms and make recommendations to senior management.

Manage the Company’s relationship with its global insurance broker(s).

Manage the Company’s captive insurance company.

Manage the relationship with the Company’s actuary and the actuarial valuation process.

Manage property and casualty loss control issues.

Manage insurance claims in conjunction with broker to reduce costs.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

2 - 5 years' related experience; healthcare industry preferred.

Experience with Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid systems a plus.

Excellent written and communication skills.

Responsibilities involving Medicare and Medicaid include but are not limited to:

Educates on the availability of alternative insurance options (i.e., Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Supplement, State Renal programs and COBRA).

Emphasis on core Insurance operations (claims / policy management / underwriting) and performance / process improvement, leveraging deep analytical skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to articulate to senior members of target management, client representatives and colleagues

Assist clients to develop and deploy target operating model plans including strategy development, business functions analyses, change management, and program execution

Deliver on private equity focused initiatives (interim management, strategic planning, capital management, business transformation, performance improvement)

Proactively manage client’s expectations, anticipate project risks, obstacles, and develop contingency plans

Manage and develop client relationships for long term opportunities.

Attends and actively participates in meetings, committees, in-services, seminars, workshops, conferences, quality management activities according to job responsibilities and Practice requirements.

Supports risk management and participates in programs directed to patient and staff safety.

Considers patient rights in performance of job duties and responsibilities.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Risk Management, or closely related field preferred.

Participation in University committees, providing risk management advice and support to academic and administrative departments.

Management of the University’s fleet vehicle statistics and automobile insurance.

Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation is helpful but not required.

Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field.

Five - or more (5+) years of directly related experience in risk management.

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Legal, Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field.

Five or more (5+) years of managerial experience.

Directs and manages the enterprise risk management program and ensures alignment with organizational objectives.

Promotes org-wide understanding about risks and risk management strategies.

Assist the Risk Management Department as needed.

Review insurance requirements with assistance of insurance broker to ensure compliance and identify potential deficiencies.

Request owner contract and other certificates of insurance as needed per requirements.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Working knowledge of various insurance coverage types, insurance terms, general exclusions, and limits of insurance.

Insurance agent or broker experience.
