Ice Cream Worker Jobs

Must possess or be able to complete the requirement for First Aid/CPR certification

Customer service and cash handling experience preferred

Previous cash handling experience preferred.

Ensure the highest quality product by performing all required procedures, quality checks and documentation to meet specifications.

Measure and supervise critical control points and make appropriate process changes to keep process running in control.

Know all product changeover requirements and procedures

Operate and clean assigned equipment.

Make adjustments to ice cream freezer temperature, viscosity, air mixture, and flow of mix.

Responsible for the flow of mix from univat to freezer to filler.

Responsible for the operation of the metal detector, proper settings per flavor and calibrate, verify proper functioning and document as required.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the Foodservice Manager, or manager-on-duty.

Prepare a variety of food items utilizing a variety of kitchen equipment including but not limited to griddle, fryer and stovetop.

Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served.

Know and comply consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.

Assist in stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.

Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, cooking equipment and refrigeration equipment.

Operate and clean assigned equipment.

Safely and properly clear machine jams.

Observe machine operation to detect malfunction. Troubleshoot and make operator adjustments on assigned equipment during production. Take corrective action as necessary.

Load, monitor and maintain stock: bar wrap, cartons, spoons, corrugate, shrink wrap; check for proper country and flavor.

Electrical - Must possess extensive experience with 3-phase wiring, electrical controls, Programmable controllers, and must possess strong trouble shooting abilities.

Welding - Must be able to arc and heli arc weld.

Refrigeration - Must be familiar with ammonia systems used for refrigeration.

Hours: Start times may vary, normally 8 ½ hour shifts per day. (Overtime may be required)

Bachelor’s Degree required with 5+ years of relevant experience including experience building or programming the modular relay process (POGs, reporting, analytics)

Ability to analyze large and complex data sets with proven experience in delivering recommendations to senior stakeholders

Strong technical skills in the likes of C#, R, PBi, Spark, SAS, SQL or similar software and languages

Understanding of retail & shopping landscape and experience working directly with customers a plus!
