Ice Cream Server Jobs

Description:

Our ice cream servers are the face of Sweet Nel’s! Guests visit for our delicious organic ice cream and gelato and expect not only a high quality product, but an exceptional customer service experience as well. That’s where you come in!

Essential Functions:

• Assist with production of baked goods/menu items.
• Responsible for taking customer orders and making sundaes, cones, milkshakes, etc.
• Able to process payments using the POS system.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Sell and share your knowledge with guests and coworkers, to contribute to the overall success of your store.
• Memorize all product recipes
• Serve customers quickly and efficiently, to prevent delays.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in service and guest areas, including but not limited to, equipment, supplies, tables and utensils.
• Relate easily to others, build rapport and relationships with the Sweet Nel’s team and guests.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume to ensure effective and efficient operations.
• Replenish supplies as needed

Requirements:

• No previous experience required, we believe in hiring for attitude and training for skill! Some experience in a fast paced ice cream/bakery environment preferred.
• Physical: able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Typical movements include bending, stooping, twisting, and repetitive wrist movements. You must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
