Thorough knowledge and understanding of employment related laws and regulations, benefits administration, and performance management and compensation systems.

Manage the University's paid time off policies and administration.

5 or more years experience with increasing responsibility in Human Resources functions.

Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Experience using ADP strongly preferred.

Outstanding organizational skills; ability to prioritize and handle several tasks simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in task/project accomplishment.

2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership

Implement and manage on-going policies, programs, and procedures to foster understanding of and improvement in management, supervisory or employee relations.

Ensure administrative, management and hourly production employee retention at the facility is maintained at an acceptable level.

Possesses specialized knowledge of HR systems, processes and procedures, including administration of benefits, compensation and other programs

Manage situations involving policy or contract interpretation.

Counsel managers and/or supervisors concerning human resource policies and procedures; reviews and resolves issues.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

BA/MA degree in Human Resources Management or similar field of study.

Experience in managing exempt Human Resource professional onsite and remote.

Strong, broad knowledge of Federal and State labor laws and strong experience with Employee Relations required.

Management of HR Business Partners

Oversees initiation, implementation and execution of improvements in HR activities and ensures appropriate communication to managers and team members.

Supports human resources processes by administering tasks

Welcomes new employees to the organization assisting with orientation..

Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.

Provides secretarial support by entering, formatting, and printing information.

Answers the telephone, relays messages, and maintains equipment and supplies.

Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.

Ensure that all hourly employee and management reviews are completed thoroughly and in a timely manner.

Have knowledge of all job descriptions and SOPS.

Strong Human Resources knowledge including compliance, HR Law, and other applicable laws and regulations

HRIS and strong database skills preferred

Develop strategies to identify new and retain valuable talent

Partner with hotels to help them meet their people initiatives
