Overview The Economic Development Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the economic development activities of a local government or organization. Detailed Job Description The Economic Development Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the economic development activities of a local government or organization. This includes developing and implementing strategies to promote economic growth and development, as well as coordinating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure successful economic development initiatives. The Economic Development Supervisor will also be responsible for researching and analyzing economic trends, developing and managing budgets, and preparing reports and presentations. Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, public administration, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in economic development
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal economic development regulations
• Knowledge of economic development tools and resources
• Ability to develop and implement strategies to promote economic growth and development
• Ability to research and analyze economic trends
• Ability to develop and manage budgets
• Ability to prepare reports and presentations
Job Knowledge
The Economic Development Supervisor should have a strong knowledge of economic development principles and practices, local, state, and federal economic development regulations, and economic development tools and resources.
Job Experience
The Economic Development Supervisor should have at least 5 years of experience in economic development.
