Shape and implement DEI practices related to DEI education, recruitment, talent development, and retention.

Initiate and nurture ties with diverse recruitment partners/educational institutions (e.g. ALPFA, NABA, university partners etc.)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Keep abreast of Marcum’s demographic data and propose programs and practices based on the data.

Keep current of AICPA’s DEI priorities, ensuring that Marcum is aligned with industry DEI priorities.

Work with senior management to identify and address any systemic barriers to diversity and inclusion.

Provide guidance and support to employees who experience discrimination or harassment.

Serve as a resource for employees and managers on issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

At least 5 years of experience in a DEI role, preferably in a tech company.

Strong knowledge of diversity and inclusion best practices and trends.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrate strong time management/ prioritization skills and solid judgement

5+ years of experience in a financial services/sales related role

Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with various professionals

Facilitate market dialogue and promote equity sales/ trading activity with Financial Advisors

Leverage the intellectual capital of MSWM and MS & Co. to provide tactical and thematic equity ideas to Financial Advisors

Develop relationships with MS Research Analysts and Institutional Sector Sales Specialists to develop subject matter expertise in a particular sector

Keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and experience managing processes and tracking initiatives across functions are essential.

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills are required.

A willingness to take on challenging, high-impact projects is necessary.

Process and project management experience;

Strategy development and management principles and practices;

Program management, project management, and development principles;

Support, produce, promote, and evaluate special events and performances that increase opportunities for cultural interactions, education and understanding;

Collaborate with other Town staff and departments, community groups, businesses, and cultural groups to ensure diverse and inclusive special event offerings;

Establish a knowledge base of best practices and available resources for cultural competence and equity;

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Excellent customer service skills to internal and external customers;

Creative and strategic thinker with strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal;

Trained or experienced in empathetic and trauma-informed consultation;

This role will be hybrid, consisting of an in office and remote working component.
