Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification - specifically for the state of IL

Currently enrolled in a Nurse Education Program (Associates or Bachelor’s level)

Strong Written & Verbal Communication skills

Each center is unique; offering you a variety of long-term career opportunities.

Minimum Duration: 5/22 - 8/12 (a 10+ week commitment)

Schedule: 3 - 5 shifts per week (including an every other weekend rotation)

Assist with setting up tables and preparing food items on occasion.

Keep the food and beverage area organized and fully-stocked.

Be familiar with the menu for each meal to ensure all items are available and to answer residents' questions.

Assist residents with any meal service assistance they might request or require.

Greet guests, inform them of specials and changes, answer questions and make suggestions.

Process resident orders to ensure items are prepared properly and served promptly.

Passion for and deep knowledge of education and college- and career-ready standards in literacy required;

Knowledge of foundational skills/science of reading (preferred);

Students experience improved understanding of grade-level content and joyful, relevant learning.

Belief that students’ improved understanding of grade-level content and more joyful, relevant learning experiences can be achieved through equitable design.

Knowledge of culturally relevant pedagogical practice (preferred);

Experience with residential life, education, sports, summer camps or secondary school.

Ensure families are compliant with residency requirements and all other policies related to non-boarding student athletes

Manage and maintain all rules and policies specific to non-boarding student-athletes.

Bachelor’s degree in related area or equivalent work experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in a high-pressure, academic/performance setting.

Knowledge of the principles and practices of nursing care, mental illness, developmental disabilities, geriatrics.

Successfully completes a minimum of 12 hours of in-service per year and additional education as required.

This position does require successful completion of a Post Offer Pre Employment Examination (POPE).

Visual requirements for nursing assistant

Supports person-directed living through providing villager care while utilizing care plans, nursing orders, and villager choice.

Encourages villagers to maintain their identity, independence, and effective interpersonal relationships.

Previous experience cleaning Airbnbs or Hotels preferred

Occasionally accommodate late check outs and early check ins.

Must be willing to complete a cleaning checklist, every single clean.

Must be extremely reliable and must be willing to complete a cleaning checklist, every single clean.

Must be able to take last minute bookings and be willing to take cleans even on some holidays
