Here are some of the physical requirements of this role

1-3 years verifiable tractor trailer driving experience OR 1-3 years of (semi) over the road driving experience (military time applied)

Acts as a primary link for communication between the plant operators and management and monitors inventory control measures.

This includes bringing any issues to the attention of management.

Train new plant operators on their job responsibilities, functions, procedures, and safety.

Requires 0 to 2 years of experience and HS diploma/GED.

Responsible the loading and unloading of trailers and chemicals.

Organize products and maintain the cleanliness of the facility and yard by keeping it free from dirt and debris.

Preferred experience with GC, IC, ICP, Karl Fisher, or general wet chemistry skills including titrations.

Provides First Aid on off-hours and as needed. Meets all requirements of a Medical First Responder.

Good analytical and creative problem solving skills

Conforms to all safety policies and procedures.

Performs chemical tests and analysis on process and finished product samples following established laboratory methods and procedures.

Performs QA checks on incoming raw material. Processes COA’s for incoming raw materials, finished products and down packing customers.

Typically no special knowledge or experience is required.

Skills may be required through on-the-job training.

Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman.

Reads and interprets instructions and procedures.

Moves materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site.

Prepares construction sites, pours and spreads concrete, sets forms, and/or finishes surfaces.

Inspects cylinders before filling, following standard procedures required by the government, Airgas, and distributor standards.

Safely operates a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse/material-handling equipment.

Loads cylinders on/off vehicles, using hand truck or chain hoist and records type and quantity of cylinders.

Examines returned cylinders for surface defects, dents, cracks, burns and performs minor maintenance of equipment and inspection of cylinders before filling.

Ability to perform heavy work – routinely lifts 25 – 75 lbs., and occasionally lifts 76 to greater than 100 lbs.

Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, and feeling also required.

Verifiable tanker truck driving experience as stated on Military Driver’s License with the ability to obtain required certifications

Operate store in store manager’s absence.

Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and practices (deposits, store keys, SAFE and STARS programs, etc.)

Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, hiring, counseling, and termination practices including legal compliance and internal processes.
