Pay up to $22 an hour depending on experience

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Shift is Sunday-Thurs 9:00 PM until finished

Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies.

Previous yard hostling experience in a fast paced environment highly preferred.

Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.

Previous forklift exp in a fast paced LTL environment preferred.

Ability to read/interact with a computer display

Driver Yard Person, Starting at $29.60 hr

Make the necessary movements of equipment within the yard/warehouses as instructed by Supervisors (or Manager) to organize the facility

Keep track of fuel requirement of the equipment.

Comply with any additional task assigned by the Operation Superintendent and/or Manager.

Minimum 2 years of driving experience

Experience in an Intermodal fleet environment preferred

Walking, stooping, bending, twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing and reaching may be required in completion of job duties

Minimum 6 months related experience preferred.

Proper handling and accurate completion of all necessary paperwork.

Hooking and unhooking trailers, raising, and lowering landing gear.

Moving trailers from dock to yard or from the yard to the dock.

Operating Yard Goat / Hostler to move trailers as needed around the yard

Pulling out and backing trailers into the dock

**Endure working in a cold environment and experience temperature changes

Qualifications Required of this Position:

Must have a CDL A

6AM Start, Working Tuesday - Saturday

Taking equipment to Penske, Carriers and sometimes running recoveries

Must have the ability to move unloaded trailers around the yard

Minimum of 1-year tractor/trailer experience (3 axle tractor, 53' trailer)

Valid driver’s license with Class A CDL. Clean driving record and insurable

Excellent work ethic & team player – levelheaded, detail-oriented, safety contentious, courteous, flexible, punctual, professional, and customer-focused.

No more than 3 pts. on license & no significant violations in the last three years.
