Prior experience or ability to use heavy-duty handheld and long-handled tools

6 + months of experience working on a rig based position for drilling contractor

Lift and place slips weighing approximately 150 pounds with another person frequently during the tour work shift

General upkeep of the rig and drilling floor; includes regular sweeping, shoveling, cleaning, painting, washing of equipment and related housekeeping duties

Clean and general upkeep of the rig and drilling floor; includes regular painting, washing of equipment and related housekeeping duties

Use iron roughneck, slips, and tongs to properly handle and connect / break sections of drill pipe

Forklift Certification or willingness to complete Forklift Certification training within 60 days

6 months of experience as a Motorhand on a land drilling rig

Independently use heavy-duty handheld and long-handled tools

Listen for unusual noises that signify equipment and machinery problems

Maintain spatial orientation and awareness to safely move around work environment with many moving objects

Interprets country work plan inspection requirements to determine if product meets requirements.

All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required will be provided by the agency.

Under close supervision, interprets and applies grading standards while performing inspection procedures for fresh cherries.

Follows established sample procedures by determined product grade when pulling and/or obtaining samples.

Knowledge of basic nursing assistant procedures and responsibilities.

Knowledge of and ability to use good oral and written communication skills.

Knowledge and use of infection control techniques.

Knowledge of the use and maintenance of simple nursing equipment (O2, prosthetics, lifts, etc.).

Knowledge and use of good body mechanics and proper lifting techniques.

Knowledge of and ability to work on a team.

Knowledge of stream ecology, riverine mechanics, irrigation management, environmental regulations and salmonid habitat requirements.

Knowledge of federal natural resource management policies.

Four years of experience working in fisheries and/or fish habitat management.

Two years of working experience in fisheries and/or fish habitat management.

Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources Management or related field.

Master of Science degree in Natural Resources Management or related field.

Conduct stream habitat surveys and complete data entry using Microsoft Excel.

Ability to learn basic ArcGIS and Microsoft Excel skills

Ability to physically work in remote areas under a wide range of weather conditions.

Build and maintain livestock exclosure fences.

Control invasive weeds through herbicide application or by mowing and mechanical removal.

Collect and plant live stakes and install rooted and container plants for re-vegetation projects.
