Work Release Officer Jobs

Position requires knowledge of horticulture principles and practices, with considerable knowledge of landscaping and greenhouse management practices.

Three (3) year in horticulture or experience directly related to the area of employment

Five (5) years experience in horticulture or experience directly related to the area of employment

Seven (7) years in horticulture or experience directly related to the area of employment

Responsible for horticulture program to include a certificate program for inmates in the pre-release program.

Plan and implements a variety of programs to include greenhouse operation, landscaping and nursery production.

High school diploma or equivalent certification required.

Work experience in a correctional setting preferred.

Oversees and monitors the activities of the intake and release areas.

Obtains transport roster of all offenders incoming to the facility.

Completes all daily information forms necessary in processing offenders in/out of the facility.

Updates computer upon arrivals/departures of offenders.
