Experience designing with inputs from several other commodities, including EDS suppliers & outside vendors while attaining durability & cost requirements.

Experience in automotive wiring harness development (EV/Hybrid is a plus).

Wiring systems engineering experience is a plus.

Knowledge of automotive standards including ISO 26262 & SAE/USCAR.

Experience working with multi-Tier suppliers for development and issue resolution ensuring on-time deliveries of wiring harness families.

Knowledge of Design for Assembly & Design for Manufacturing applied to wiring harnesses to support vehicle manufacturing partner & suppliers.

Experience utilizing math that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals and fractions

1+ Years experience using tools and/or hand-held power tools?

1+ years experience with electrical assembly installation

Other Relevant Information & Requirements:

Obtain and verify that kitted (pre-picked) materials were issued correctly.

Ensure that parts issued are correct & free of visible defects.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must have sound knowledge of wire harness assembly methods and manufacturing tools.

Requires sound analytical, written, and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface with all departments.

Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.

Must be organized and able to read and understand engineering drawings, parts lists, electrical schematics, and customer/industry specifications.

Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.

Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.

High School diploma or equivalent education (College degree or vocational training preferred)

Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience

Knowledge of electrical theory and circuitry.

Proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing.

1+ years of experience in aviation.

Performs routine production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies and equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.

Partners with Integrated Build Teams (IBTs) and Team Leader to mitigate performance risk utilizing Systematic Problem Solving (SPS) methodologies.

Minimum of 6 months of experience performing Electromechanical assembly or similar experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience using basic hand tools

Preferred 3+ years of validated experience working with standard hand and power tools, both pneumatic and battery operated

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

Verify and ensure FAA compliance with Quality Management System.

Must have the ability to complete the New Hire Training Cycle Flow to obtain and maintain all required certifications.

1+ year of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, and/or fabrication

1+ year of experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications

1+ year of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications
