They must have a strong understanding of welding processes and techniques, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols. Inspectors must be able to identify defects in welds, and must be able to communicate effectively with welders and other personnel. They must also be able to use a variety of inspection tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices. Job Skills Required
