DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As Welder, you will perform a variety of welding duties involving welding, brazing and metalcutting jobs on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Your work involves the exercise of independent judgement in determining work methods and procedures and may include lead work over helpers. You will receive assignments orally and in written form from a foreman or other supervisor. Your work is checked in progress or upon completion.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.
  • Work hours are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Shift is dependent on summer and winter operations.
  • Full-time employment.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Three years of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment, materials, and related shop equipment to repair, maintain, or fabricate parts, equipment, or structures; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Necessary Special Requirement:
  • This position requires possession of a valid Non-commercial Class C Driver’s License.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
