Welder Fabrication Shop 1 Jobs in Utah

Previous experience performing air-arc welding.

Experience with air-arc gouging and operation of plasma cutting machines.

Successful ability to pass certification tests.

First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )

Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the job training.

Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment.

Knowledge of weld symbols is a plus.

Basic flat, horizontal, and vertical down position MIG welding

Knows how to read a tape measure

Use of grinders, sanders, drills, and basic hand tools

Self-management skills: Uses time efficiently to complete tasks.

Gas metal arc welding certification required.

Simpson’s welding certification (will certify upon hire) required.

3 years of welding experience.

Communication skills: Speaks in the most effective way to relay information. Listens and asks questions to ensure understanding

Sanitizing: Increased cleaning and disinfecting of facilities

Weld metal parts, components,or structures

File, sand, grind, or polish metal

Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble products by hand

Ability to read, understand and identify blueprints and materials needed for each job

Able to use measuring devices

Understand and follow work instructions
