Strong oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively distill and present complex information in a concise, accessible way

Excellent interpersonal skills, including maturity and an ability to work independently and in a team setting

Specific responsibilities of the policy analyst include the following:

Implements and conducts quality reviews for the records management program for filing, protection, and retrieval of

Compiles, tracks and analyzes IPU performance measure data and provides information to management, if

Documents any revisions to overall project plans and reports out on those revisions to project leads and managers to

Identifies the problems or factors inhibiting the achievement of project goals and offers administrative or operational

Under the direction of project leads and managers, helps to write periodic progress reports containing findings and

Analysis of policies and procedures affecting business and/or regulation.

Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.

Effective team player with excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate professionally with a wide variety of individuals and organizations.

Experience with analyzing housing policy, primarily land use and funding strategies.

Visualize data, including through geospatial mapping, in an easy-to-understand method to push forward-thinking housing policy.

Coordinate and communicate with the project team and client to ensure timely and successful project deliverables.

Foster and maintain client relationships.

Experience with stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and relationship management

Demonstrated knowledge of health, housing, or economic mobility (including workforce development and education) policy and programs a plus

Monitor timelines and deliverables to ensure that responsibilities to funders are met in assigned project areas.

Demonstrated knowledge of corrections, community supervision, and community-based reentry practices and criminal justice policy

Experience working on racial equity initiatives a plus

Strong oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively distill and present complex information in a concise, accessible way

Bachelor's or advanced degree in public policy, political science, or related field (additional relevant experience may be substituted for education requirement).

Three years' experience in state government, public policy, association management, or related field.

Develops and manages relationships with state officials and policymakers, including legislative and other governmental contacts.

Research, writing, and policy analysis experience preferred.

Working knowledge of the legislative, executive, and judicial process.

Experience working collaboratively with multiple partners, with a preference for having worked with public officials.

Creative thinking, with excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and balance projects with a high degree of independence.

Experience or demonstrated interest in New York City government and/or transportation policy is a plus.

Demonstrated interest in using qualitative and quantitative research to inform policy.

Education: Currently enrolled in Master's Program

Experience: 3-5 year of experience in public policy, international relations, and/or economics.

Skills: exceptional research, writing, and presentation skills.

Conduct policy analysis and scholarly research, particularly in the areas of transatlantic trade, investment, and monetary cooperation.

Develop policy recommendations and proposals to improve the effectiveness of the transatlantic alliance.

Research and write high quality papers, reports, and commentary.
