Water Patrol Assistant Jobs

3 months to start with opportunity to be ongoing if mutually agreed upon

Send weekly club wide email "weekly update" detailing practice schedule & any changes

Maintain/update Teamsnap calendars for practices, games and events

Confirm Coach availability for practices & games weekly

Respond to parent email inquiries

Create Flyers & Teamsnap registrations for Club events/new seasons etc...

Water safety skills and CPR are required (certification within first 6 months).

Program Administrative and Fiscal Management –

Provide technical skill instruction to aid in the development of student-athletes at practices.

Conduct individual training sessions with student-athletes geared at skill development.

Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

Extensive knowledge of water polo.

Or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience, which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities.

Three (3) years boating experience including a working knowledge of the principles of navigation and seamanship.

Participate in training sessions conducted in house and by other agencies, such as U.S. Coast Guard, as assigned.

Accompany Deputy Sheriffs, primarily as a deck hand, while on enforcement related patrol on Lake Michigan, Racine Harbor, and Root River.

Operate communications facilities and equipment which include, but are not limited to: telephones, radios and water pumps.
