Vulnerability Management Program Manager Jobs

Effectively lead an enterprise-wide vulnerability management program responsible for scanning, remediation, threat intelligence, and tool management.

Set up and maintain procedures ensuring relevant vulnerability management KPIs and KRIs are shared with relevant stakeholders.

Expertise in vulnerability management, bringing assertive leadership and guidance to teams in patching and vulnerability remediation.

Extensive knowledge of computer security architectures and protocols, including firewalls, DMZs, remote access, networking, operating systems, AWS, and web applications.

Position: Vulnerability Management – Manager

Devise, implement, and monitor vulnerability response processes to efficiently remediate critical and zero-day vulnerabilities.

Demonstrated experience in security research people management

Over 750 teammates are dispersed throughout Boston, Raleigh, New York, Lisbon, Singapore, Argentina, and remote

Establish team priorities for research and development of new vulnerability intelligence collection and analysis capabilities

Evaluate, align, and escalate vulnerability detection capabilities within Bitsight’s established risk assessment framework

Communicate timelines and expectations for high-priority vulnerability detection capabilities

Recruit, train, and develop an international team of vulnerability researchers of diverse backgrounds and skill sets

Working knowledge of programming techniques with experience in automation, API access, and data management, preferably with Python

Analysis and reporting of information security data, preferably around vulnerability management

2 years of experience with data acquisition techniques to collect data from remote data sources

Firm understanding of vulnerability management concepts and principles

Analyze and report on enterprise vulnerability management data from multiple sources in various formats as standalone or merged data sets

Participate in the development of ongoing vulnerability data management strategies

Experience with Qualys or other comparable vulnerability management platforms

Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.

Minimum 5 years of related experience

Working knowledge in the Semiconductor industry

Lead strategic planning/roadmap creation for Vulnerability Management.

Define key performance indicators and metrics to illustrate efficacy with vulnerability management

Provide educational content on how to remediate vulnerabilities

May directly manage the configuration, testing, documentation, and implementation of upgrades to vulnerability management processes, controls or products as directed.

Regularly report on the state of vulnerabilities including criticality, exploit probability, business impact and remediation to security and IT leadership

Remain current with emerging threats and share knowledge to improve security posture

Experience in general security concepts such as defense in-depth and risk-based security management.

5 years of experience with vulnerability management concepts and methodologies, and

Experience managing enterprise vulnerability management in a large commercial enterprise

Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to information technology or security or the equivalent combination of experience and certifications

Lead the property vulnerability remediation team to provide vulnerability management services that meet organization objectives

Experience managing medium to large projects involving multiple teams in a technical lead role within an enterprise environment

Interpret legislation, regulations, CMS policies, and procedures to facilitate consistency in their application among Medicare contractors.

Strong time management skills and experience handling multiple initiatives with competing priorities

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Experience with user-centred design principles and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while adhering to deadlines.

Prior people management experience is preferred though not required.

Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Product Manager or related role

At least 2 years' experience working with SaaS go-to-market (GTM) principles and practices

10 or more years working as a Product Manager or related role

Experience with security SaaS products

Ability to understand, decompose, organize and manage sophisticated cross-functional programs and initiatives

Maintain, where appropriate, vendor relationships in support of Vulnerability Management practices

Collaborate with peer Security teams in advancement of Vulnerability Management practices for the Enterprise

Support Asset Management program maturity through Qualys expertise and Cloud activities

Support Audits and Assessments and other key requests of Vulnerability Management

Communicate with clients to understand their security needs and develop engagement plans to satisfy all requirements

Collaborate with other employees in order to build the company's overall capabilities, specific to the Qualys and Cloud areas

Proven experience building and managing a successful comprehensive vulnerability management program, ideally in a software development company.

Experience using vulnerability management, detection, and response applications (VMDR)

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principals and best practices accompanied by experience in managing security risks.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security topics to a diverse audience.

Experience building and maintaining vulnerability metrics that can be easily understood and leveraged to reduce risk.

Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and mentor teams in a fast-paced dynamic environment to achieve high performance.
