Vehicle Operations Jobs

Drone deployment/retrieval in locations around the globe including remote locations

Experience Driving 30+ ft twin-engine powerboat(s) with vehicles in tow, experience at sea

Sailing experience, a big plus

Assemble, QC check, test, and Commission drones at Saildrone HQ and while on remote deployments/retrievals

Assist with the coordination, development, and execution of the Saildrone Operator Training Program conducted both on-site and at remote locations worldwide

5-10 yrs minimum experience in marine engineering, marine operations, and leadership roles

Complete tasks related to site preventative maintenance in accordance with the asset management system

Rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment

2+ years of professional experience working hands-on as a technician in the aerospace, aviation, automotive, or oil and gas industry

Strong written and oral communication skills

Experience populating and repairing connectors ranging from D-SUB, BNC, TNC, N-TYPE SMA 8P8C

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

Must possess a valid state driver’s license with a minimum of one year of driving experience and a good driving record

1 year or more of janitorial or auto detailing experience preferred

Washes exterior of vehicles using power washer and brushes; sweeps and removes trash from vehicles

Drives, maneuvers, and parks vehicles

Performs light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities

Reports any maintenance issues to Supervisor

Communicate effectively with others. Physical Requirements:

Be on-call by pager for critical system repair after normal business hours;

Install wiring for interconnecting of radio equipment;

Learn the equipment and methods used in monitoring and trouble shootingthe performance of communication equipment;

Inspect emergency power generators on a weekly basis, and perform preventative maintenance tasks on emergency power generators;

In support of the procurement and recruiting teams, assist in the management of contract vendors’ ability to meet Zoox requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues

Responsible for the management, hiring, and training of high caliber vehicle operations personnel

Complete all administrative tasks with regard to team management, including, but not limited to, timesheet approval & schedule validation

8+ years of successful management of large teams in a technical environment, across multiple locations

Partner with senior operations leaders, finance, supply chain, product/engineering to advance the strategy and infrastructure to scale markets
