Proven experience in disinfection and leak testing in accordance with AWWA standard. Association (AWWA) C651 Disinfecting Water Mains

·Have knowledge of proper sequence of activities to avoid production slow down and errors

·Execute pipe work in accordance with plans and specifications

Job Type: CONTRACT 4-10 months

Pay: $26- $37 per hour

Education preferred: high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum 3- 5 years of experience.

Pressure Relief Valve Manufacturers Training Courses and/or certifications, National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors training course preferred.

Knowledge of Trevitest, EVT, AVK, or other in-line test equipment preferred.

Solid working knowledge of the ASME and NBIC codes.

0 to 30% minimum travel requirement.

Assists Valve technician as needed

Identify and use basic hand tools

Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as by self without direct supervision

Candidate must within a 45 min from the shop

At least High School Grad or GED.

Ability to work overtime and holidays as needed and must be available for call outs as required.

Good interpersonal skills for daily interaction with customers and fellow employees.

Operational experience in the oil and gas industry with respect to system operations, prime movers and associated valves.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose systemic problems.

Willing to be trained in skills other than the primary skill.

The ideal candidate should have strong skills in the following:

Perform machining and other support operations on individual components of valves, pumps, turbines, and other industrial equipment utilizing various manual machines.

Demonstrate effective time management skills

HS Education or GED Equivalent

1 year of industry experience

Some prior control valve experience

Demonstrated mechanical skills, basic mathematical skills, and ability to use measurement equipment

Basic oral & written communication skills
