Experience across Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) product delivery, highly technical professional services, managed services, and programmatic mission services

Knowledge and ability to develop and/or interpret operating plans and budgets.

Ability to manage multiple, complex projects and changing priorities, work extended hours when required, make sound decisions under pressure

Exceptional working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

12+ years experience operations leadership

Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements

Management background or Associates Degree or higher is preferred.

Preferred - Experience requirements in a tertiary-level medical care facility with at least 300 – 500 bed capacity.

Responsible for ensuring employee work schedule is covered with adequate staffing on a daily basis through Managers.

Ensure QC inspections are performed on a daily basis by the Managers and QC on all employees.

Observe Managers daily by rounding in their areas – document findings

Manage the department within budgetary guidelines tracking inventory usage and ordering supplies when necessary

Manage outside vendors/contractors, securing bids and scheduling needed work on special projects tracking all maintenance expenditures and procedures (10%)

Assist all maintenance team members in the their job duties and assume maintenance activities when needed (75%)

Good communication skills are required

Ensure the operational management of all the staff and resources of the CPU, including organization and management, qualified staff selection, etc.

Demonstrate sound fiscal responsibility in the development and management of the CPU budget.

A minimum of 10 years’ experience in clinical research, preferably a CRO or research environment.

A minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience.

Experience in conducting complex long-term projects and meeting strict timelines.

Superior interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong leadership skills and experience leading and managing a team

Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and achieve effective time management.

Control expenses within area of responsibility.

Develop and recommend Department Operating Budget and ensure the department operates within the budget.

Evaluate and justify supplies, equipment and purchases as needed.
