New Unit Construction Project Manager Jobs in Florida

Ensuring that the obligations of Siemens Energy are completed in accordance with the contract requirements.

Resolving issues that arise during the execution of the project to minimize their impact to both Siemens Energy and the customer.

Mitigating the risks and exploiting the opportunities that arise during execution.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

3-5 years experience in project management, including project planning, resource allocation, scope and timeline maintenance and documentation

Bachelors Degree required in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management or related field

Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet etc.

Demonstrated experience leading multiple projects simultaneously through ideation, concept, development and deployment in a fast paced environment

Manages escalations efficiently and effectively

Consumer packaged goods industry experience preferred

Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills in order to set priorities and meet assigned deadlines

Technical construction ability to manage construction resources and to diagnose and resolve field problems

People skills to articulately and professionally handle conflict with customers, inspectors and trades

Organization aptitude to manage the scheduling of all construction resources

Must possess physical capabilities to lift construction materials

In depth knowledge of the standard methods, materials, tools and equipment used in new home construction

Strong leadership skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills

Minimum of 2-3 years related project management and/or construction experience preferred

Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities

Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers

Knowledge of the principals of cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration desired
