Uniform Room Attendant Jobs

Sorting of dirty linen from laundry chute to be processed.

Operating laundry and dry cleaning equipment.

Operating small washers/dryers to process specialty items or special requests for guests.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department at all times.

Adhere by safety and sanitization regulations as instructed by OSHA and the Omni Hotels & Resorts.

Must be able to stand in work station for up to 8 hours per shift

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

Schedule flexibility required, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Ability to lift, push, and pull a moderate amount of weight required

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), intranet/internet and Contact Management System

Minimum of 1 year outside sales experience or successful completion of a Cintas sales training program

New business-to-business (B2B) sales experience

Generating revenue and meeting sales targets

Developing and qualifying leads within respective territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns

Gathering and utilizing business intelligence on prospects to support sales calls, product presentations and driving new business

Report all shortages, damages, maintenance requests, problems, and linen availability to management in a timely manner

Turn in all lost and found items from employee uniforms to the management

Anticipate employee needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all employees regardless of workload and time of day

Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, procedures, and standards

Previous experience working in a same or similar position preferred

Ability to perform basic computer skills

Three to five years of sales experience is required.

Previous experience in the uniform and work apparel space is required.

Previous experience using a CRM and other related sales software tools.

Seeking out new business opportunities within the uniform and work apparel space.

Identifying and making suggestions on product marketability.

Identifying trends and changes in the marketplace.

Master and technical sketches of new styles in Product Life Management (PLM)

Production Management team, responsible for:

College graduate with a degree in Apparel, Design, Merchandising, or equivalent; or equivalent work experience.

Requires strong communication skills - effective both verbally and written

Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build working relationships quickly

Demonstrates a high level of organizational and planning skills

Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge of uniform program on computer.

Scans dirty uniforms and prepares them for cleaners.

Receives clean uniforms from cleaners and hangs in proper area.

Checks all uniforms for repairs and damage.

Takes repairs to the seamstress area.

Previous experience in a high production laundry is preferred.

Receives and sorts, soiled linen into designated classifications.

Operates automatic cart washer, as required. Removes linen carts from cart washer exit.

Operates flatwork ironer, small piece folders and fold linen following predetermined standards. Processes specialty items.

Identifies each linen distribution cart with proper labels and tags, covering all linen carts prior to transport.

Fold and store linen to maintain cleanliness standards.
