Ultrasound Technologists must be able to operate the equipment, interpret the images, and communicate the results to physicians.Detailed Job Description:
Ultrasound Technologists are responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, such as ultrasounds, to help diagnose and treat medical conditions. They must be able to operate the equipment, interpret the images, and communicate the results to physicians. Ultrasound Technologists must also be knowledgeable of anatomy and physiology, as well as medical terminology. They must be able to explain the procedure to the patient, and provide comfort and support during the procedure. Ultrasound Technologists must also be able to maintain accurate patient records and follow safety protocols.What is Ultrasound Technologist Job Skills Required?

What is Ultrasound Technologist Job Qualifications?
• Associate's degree in ultrasound technology or related field
• Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• State licensure, if required
• CPR certification
