Under the direction of the Medical Director, performs ultrasound procedures in accordance with department protocols.

1.1 Perform all ultrasonographic procedures, including minor surgical procedures such as cyst aspirations, biopsies, thoracentesis, and amniocentesis according to department protocol.
1.2 Performs Vascular Ultrasound procedure including both venous and arterial studies.
1.3 Assist radiologist during procedures.
1.4 Retrieve patient information from the computer systems.
1.5 Send to and retrieve exams to PACs.
1.6 Ability to send exams to laser printer.
1.7 Identify and report maintenance mechanical, electrical, and safety problems to immediate supervisor.
1.8 Troubleshoot equipment problems and assist with their resolution.
1.9 Use proper telephone etiquette.
