Overview The Tug Third Mate is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the tugboat and its crew. The Third Mate is the second in command of the vessel and is responsible for the navigation, safety, and security of the vessel and its crew. Detailed Job Description The Tug Third Mate is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the tugboat and its crew. The Third Mate is the second in command of the vessel and is responsible for the navigation, safety, and security of the vessel and its crew. The Third Mate is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the vessel, including the navigation, communication, and propulsion systems. The Third Mate is also responsible for the maintenance of the vessel’s equipment, including the engines, generators, and other machinery. The Third Mate is responsible for the safety of the crew and passengers, and for the security of the vessel. Job Skills Required
