Trucking Accountant Jobs in Utah

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

Two plus years of verifiable tractor/semi-trailer driving experience preferred.

Drive and operate an 18-wheel tractor/semi-trailer (cargo tank) to safely transport bulk liquid product.

Communicate with dispatch the Bill of Lading information to initiate billing, accounting and payroll processes appropriately.

Prepare and maintain electronic Hours of Service Logs and complete/submit other required paperwork.

Inspect tractor and trailer for safety concerns and ensure all operating equipment is in proper working order and meets safety conditions.

Experience with Transportation Management Software (TMS)

Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills

Extensive experience in customer services, as well as generating freight bills and invoices

Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations and laws

$tarting base wage range: $20.00-$23.00/hr

Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills are essential

Lead Safety Specialist/safety specialist status and experience is preferred

Management and/or Supervisory experience in the field, transportation and/or related field is preferred, but not required
