The Transportation Planning Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of transportation planning projects. This includes the development of plans, policies, and programs to improve the efficiency and safety of transportation systems. The Transportation Planning Manager is also responsible for coordinating with other departments and agencies to ensure that the plans and programs are implemented in a timely and effective manner. The Transportation Planning Manager will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Developing and implementing transportation plans, policies, and programs
• Coordinating with other departments and agencies to ensure that plans and programs are implemented in a timely and effective manner
• Developing and managing budgets for transportation projects
• Monitoring and evaluating the performance of transportation projects
• Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
• Developing and implementing strategies to improve transportation systems
• Preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders
Job Skills Required

• Knowledge of transportation planning principles and practices
