Present the subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency, board policies, and administrative regulations.

Attend ARD meetings and be prepared to discuss students’ strengths, weaknesses, and abilities.

Cooperate with other members of the staff in planning and implementing instructional goals, objectives, and methods according to district requirements.

Use acceptable communication skills to present information accurately and clearly.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Principal and/or Assistant Principal.

ESL Certification required within six months of employment.

AEMA Certification or registered for the certification exam.

Four years of experience working in an athletic equipment room.

Assistant Equipment Manager - Athletics

Directs and oversees the purchasing, inventory, distribution, and maintenance of athletic equipment for the Mens & Womens Basketball and Volleyball teams.

Develops, implements, and monitors the overall athletic equipment budget for Mens & Womens Basketball and Volleyball teams.

Ensures that purchases are made within state purchasing laws.

Manage daily operations of the athletic training program including the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of student athlete injuries

Current First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Certification or willingness to obtain the certification

Establish and maintain effective communication with coaches, students, parents, administration, and medical resource persons regarding student medical concerns

Supervise the work of the assistant athletic trainer(s) and coordinate the coverage of athletic events with them

Instruct and train athletic training students the proper techniques in recognition and care of basic athletic injuries

Supervise and evaluate the Emergency Action Plan drills conducted for all on campus sports
