Defines board assembly, test processes, equipment specifications, and qualification plans

Minimum of 5 years of related experience required; BSEE is preferred

Experience in flying probe, ICT, boundary scan, and software development is a plus

Supports test engineering and the quality department

Develops and maintains work procedures for manufacturing

Troubleshoots assemblies and systems down to the component level

Define the requirements and establish the design criteria to identify the network planning tools to use and the required databases.

Basic knowledge of GSM, CDMA and IS-136 system specifications.

Perform RF drive testing to carry out propagation and signal measurement.

Devise test plans, test site scheduling, equipment calibration and setup, RF signal measurement and data analysis.

File status reports to the Federal Communications Commissions (FCC), as required.

Measure field data for the base site to identify RF signals frequencies and respective powers.

Responsible for completion of assigned task on time and meeting technical requirements

Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable

Support the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirements

Novice technical expertise and application domain knowledge

Support and participate in technical activity

Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems

Manages appropriate aspects of supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements.

Supports project management by providing work statement, budget, schedule and other required inputs and by reporting project status.

5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Will also have responsibilities for new RF testing chamber development.

Minimum of 5 years of experience working in RF (Radio Frequency) testing and analysis environment required.

Demonstrate working knowledge of software development including proficiency in scripting and/or programming preferably MatLab

Demonstrate working knowledge of software to design and build (Solidworks)

Bachelor's degree (BSEE) with 3-5+ years' experience or master's degree (MSEE) with relevant intern or project experience.

Good written and oral communication skills.

An understanding of a typical IC development flow, from requirements and specifications through volume production.

Hands-on experience with silicon debug and evaluation.

Experience performing system evaluation and characterization using bench test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers (VNA).

Interface as the central resource with design, test, applications, quality and marketing teams to move the product(s) through the release process.
