X Ray Technologist Rt Urgent Care Jobs in Alabama

Excellent customer service skills are required.

We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.

Applicant must be ARRT registered or eligible.

Must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work independently and in a team setting.

· At least one year of RT experience, preferred.

Required Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations

2. Current and unrestricted Radiologic Technologist Certification through the Washington State Department of Health

5. Occasional patient scheduling for Mammography, X-Ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound.

6. *Utilize sound sterile technique, as required, to prevent contamination and/or cross contamination.

7. *Participate in the department's Quality Assurance program and perform assigned Quality Control tasks.

This job requires access to confidential and sensitive information, requiring ongoing discretion and secure information management.

Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist Certificate (LMRT) or Certification from similar Radiologic Technology Program

Position patient under X-Ray machine, adjust immobilization devices, and provide appropriate radiation protection

Adjust switches regulating length and intensity of exposure and make minor adjustments to equipment

Administers routine X-Ray exams as ordered by the treating clinician and in accordance with scope of state license

Knowledge and/or experience in competitive or orthogonal analytical techniques such as SIMS, ellipsometry or TEM, would be beneficial.

Demonstrate system usage, either remotely, at customer sites or Malvern Panalytical sites in the region.

3+ years’ experience with thin film metrology by XRF/XRD as system owner or advanced user, is required

Industrial certifications or higher degrees (PhD) highly beneficial

Experience with thin film deposition techniques highly desired.

Experience in a technical/commercial role and/or sales support role is ideal.

Demonstrates knowledge of the requirements of The Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies on a daily basis.

Maintains education updates and mandatory hospital training programs.

Identifies patient and verifies pregnancy status, medical history, complaint and explains x-ray procedure.

Prepares patients for x-rays, performs, develops, and displays radiology exams.

Acts as a liaison between the patient and the doctor regarding radiology procedures.

Orders all supplies related to clinic radiology department.

Is able to pass certification requirements to NAS-410 and Titeflex procedures
