Technical Services Veterinarian Jobs

Collaborate with customers, sales, engineering, and manufacturing to understand and fulfill customer-specific quality requirements.

Ensure engineering change orders comply with quality requirements.

Maintain adherence to quality requirements for military standards.

Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100 Quality System requirements.

Experience working in a quality role within a manufacturing environment.

Desired experience in electronics, electrical, or electromechanical manufacturing.

Knowledge of proper care and handling of domestic species under stressful situations.

Knowledge of veterinarian medical terms and medications.

Issues required licenses and tags.

Carries out laboratory testing of blood, fecal, urine and other subjects.

Ensures that animals are well prepared for surgery and medical examination.

Administers medications or vaccines to animals and facilitates dispensing of medication as directed by veterinarian.

Keep management updated on current industry issues and trends.

Advanced training and/or experience in poultry health.

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the US poultry industry.

Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills

Advanced skills using Microsoft office programs.

Location: US - Teaneck, NJ - Remote

Support customer requests for case management support in accordance to company policies.

Maintain excellent and up-to-date Dechra and competitor product knowledge.

Present technical seminars to various customers and accompany territory managers on sales calls.

DVM/VMD with a minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience; current license to practice in at least one state preferred

Sound knowledge of companion animal internal medicine. Equine knowledge a plus

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

This is a part-time position. Annual salary will be pro-rated according to hours worked.

Must pass a criminal background check prior to hire.

Manages multiple product and process development projects, some of complex nature.

Applies knowledge of research methods, food science, and process technology to develop improved products, new or improved processes, and cost savings.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an academic field directly related to and essential to the job.
