Three years of experience in construction related project management

Project Management certification is strongly preferred

Coordinate with the Project Delivery management team to schedule projects, field technicians, and allocate resources (including subcontractors)

Update technical skills or obtain certifications as required

Provide leadership, coaching, and training to manage a high performing team

Oversee field technicians on job sites, primarily remotely

Organizational and time management skills

3+ years of relevant experience with Windows computers and a wide variety of networking equipment

Experience with industrial and office environments

Experience reading building blueprints and schematic drawings

Knowledge and understanding of basic networking terminology

Ability to manage multiple priorities are required

Education, Certifications or Experience are all preferred but not required for consideration

Experience in the installation of low voltage cabling preferred.

Experience in CCTV, Access Control or Integrated AV is a plus.

Work across multiple special system platforms

Install and Terminate Cat6, Cat6A, Fiber Optic and multi-pair Cabling

Willing to work occasional overtime and weekends

Knowledge and experience with CCTV, Security Systems, and Alarm Systems is a plus.

Excellent customer relationship and communication skills with Project Managers; verbal and written.

Provide regular updates to Project Management on project status and current objectives.

Experience as a Low Voltage Cable Technician.

Data Cable Technician with CAT6 cabling, fiber optic, 24v and 70v paging systems experience.

A good understanding of project lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Iterative, Agile/Scrum) and project management processes and standards

1 year programming experience, or successful participation in the Tech Youth Program

Strong technical skills and a good understanding of software development principles and project lifecycles

High motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills

Works under significant supervision of a Solution Delivery Manager or technical lead

Configures, manages, and repairs computers, printers, smartphones, and other devices used by our Faculty and Staff

Skill configuring, troubleshooting and repairing personal computer hardware

Exceptional communication and customer service skills with a strong work ethic

Responds to and troubleshoots email, online, and in-person inquiries

Provides in-the-field assistance to users with various computer hardware and software issues

Utilizes a central ticketing system to communicate with colleagues and resolve issues in conjunction with higher-level IT resources
