Team Assembly Jobs

Position, align and affix components for assembly either manually or using hand/air tools or hoists.

Read and follow assembly job standards and other related documents.

Operate, monitor and maintain equipment used in the production process as required.

May transfer products between work areas of plant by hand or using manual or powered industrial equipment.

May rotate through various tasks in the assembly processes.

Communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Research, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles

Little to no prior knowledge or experience

Review project instructions and specifications to identify, modify and plan requirements fabrication, assembly and testing

High School Diploma or GED (General Education Development)

(Preferred) Experience in manufacturing environment

Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Performs functional testing of vehicles according to final inspection requirements (FIR).

Prefer 1-2 years of related experience in vehicle conversion/maintenance

Must be able to demonstrate skill proficiencies in each of the production assembly stations and final processing functions.

Works from engineering drawings, such as assembly, hydraulic, electrical drawings, including schematics and pictorials, technical manuals and station instruction sheets.

Previous experience training and leading people in a manufacturing environment

Rework or material handling experience is a plus

Problem-solving and use of continuous improvement tools

Ability to perform successful hand-overs to the next shift

Understanding of Microsoft Office, SAP, and ERP systems commonly used in production

Willingness to adapt to change

Assembles a variety of products; takes direction form leads, supervisors, and through written work instructions

Accurately interprets blueprints and assembly instructions

Positions production parts in specified relationship to each other

Loads/unloads parts form and operates previously set up machines, such as a drill press

Operates pallet jack to relocate finished components to inspection area

Performs quality checks throughout building process
