Direct experience developing systems for certification to DO-254 / DO-178 standards with prior experience completing all SOI 1 through SOI 4.

Strong knowledge and experience with SAE ARP4761, MIL-STD-882E, Joint Software System Safety Handbook (JSSSEH), DO-178B/C, MIL-HDBK-516C, DO-254, SAE ARP4754A, and/or AOP-52.

18+ years of experience in a systems engineering role.

Work in UE4/UE5 to build new technology and adapt existing systems to fulfill the project’s technical requirements.

Help mentor and develop less-experienced members of the engineering team in both UE4/5 and C++

Experience working on multi-platform software projects

Deep experience working with UE4/UE5

Experience shipping games on current generation consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X, or Switch) and PC

Perform integration, verification, and field qualification testing to ensure the system under test performs according to specifications/requirements.

Relevant experience includes four (4) or more of the following areas:

Experience with troubleshooting and failure process

Experience with the use of lab/field test equipment

Experience with Verification and Validation methods

Experience creating integration and verification strategies.

Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education required

This opportunity is remote with preference if within a commutable distance to Reston, VA, San Antonio, TX or San Dimas, CA.

Analyze, recommend and design end-to-end enterprise systems composed of IT architecture, QTC developed software components, or commercial off the shelf capabilities

Create and deliver technical proposals and presentations for engineer reviews (e.g., requirements, design, test, operational readiness)

Assists in defining product requirements and creates high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms
