Detailed Job Description Surgical Techs are responsible for preparing the operating room for surgery, including setting up the sterile field, instruments, and equipment. They also help the surgeon during the procedure by passing instruments, providing suction, and helping to control bleeding. They may also be responsible for cleaning and sterilizing instruments, preparing patients for surgery, and helping to move patients to and from the operating room.
