Surgical Tech Operating Room Jobs in Iowa

Provide health care to all age group (infants, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric served by the operating room.

Performs other duties as assigned.

At least 2 years of operating room experience, cataract experience a plus

Must be BLS certified and are required to maintain this certification.

Set up the operating room for procedures by selecting and preparing equipment and instruments

Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and equipment

Monitor the patient's vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, AND REGISTRATION

Participate in ongoing educational and competency verification activities applicable to scrub person activities.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

8 years of experience in an acute care facility OR

Certification from an accredited Surgical Technologist school
