Have completed your sophomore year of undergrad education and will continue your education in the fall

Exhibit exceptional analytical instrumentation skills

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the Biological Sciences (cell & molecular biology, genetics, microbiology), Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field

Can work in an interdisciplinary scientific setting

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Research related job duties and hours vary but may include:

Penn State Covid-19 Vaccination or Testing Requirements

Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.

Perform other related duties and responsibilities as requested by the Site Director.

College credits in Education or related field.

At least one year of administrative experience.

At least two years of experience supervising in school age programs.

Strong skills in communication, punctuality, and teamwork.

Max Hours: 27 per week, Mon – Thurs (1:00 – 6:00pm), Fri (8:00am – 4:00pm)

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and work assignments

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone or video connection, with high professionalism

Attention to detail and standard operating procedures/protocols and compliance with safety requirements are essential.

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) proficiency

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Research skills in the humanities

Some experience doing research in the humanities; computer literacy essential

research skills in the humanities
